Hot Tip: Light Exercise

If you’re really, really serious about increasing your libido, work some light exercise into your routine. I know what you’re thinking: when? Trust me, I’m practical. I know that between making meals, working, and chasing kids around you barely have time to reapply your lipgloss let alone hit the gym for daily pilates.

Make working out part of your everyday routine by working it into what you already do. If you’re a new mom with one baby, get a good jogging stroller and hit the sidewalk when Jr. gets fussy at 4pm everyday (because we all know he does). No one is saying you have to break any records, a brisk walk will whittle your waistline and get your blood pumping.

If you have a gaggle of kids, take them to the park (wear yoga pants, a sports bra and a tank or fleece) and chase after them. Bring a soccer ball and really play with them instead of texting or watching them from the bench.

These little bursts of activity will make you feel more alive and available for *special time*. Promise.

Birth Control: Plan Ahead

Birth control isn’t something to think about when already in the heat of the moment. Plan ahead with contraceptive whether that means seeing doc for the pill or ordering condoms online (if you’re too chicken to buy them at the pharmacy).
